Ok, so here is the Poirirers.com website back up, and we have a few pictures, a bit of news, a creative post by my daughter Jamie about the Webkinz craze (with a snapshot of Cameron’s Webkinz to boot), but still pretty much no input from other family members.

Sure, sure.  Sandy Caron made a wonderful, selfless contribution and the controversy over her baldfaced urination in our back yard has been quite a sensation (see below for the salacious picture!), but nevertheless, there isn’t too much coming our way from other folks.  So step up if you read this site!  Drop Doug an email an let us know a little tidbit about what is going on with your or your family.

Here, I’ll give you a sample.  My son, Douglas Poirier (hehhe… I have a Junior!  Is that cool or what?  Ok, sure I swore I’d never have a son be a Junior, but cut me some slack.  When you have five kids, you start running out of ideas for names.)  Douglas Poirier is a football player, and though he’s just turned 6, he’s been pounding out the punishment on the other poor souls who have the misfortune of being his teammates.

Here is a picture of his team at practice.  I’ll give $50 to anyone who can pick him out of the picture.  Heh.

So what is up with these Patriots?  Are they going to have a decent football team this year or what?  Grrr… 0-4 in the pre-season isn’t very encouraging, but most folks who write about sports for a living seem to feel the Pats will do quite well.

My 7-year-old neice, Kaitlyn Ferra passed away tragically this August.  There is a benefit concert the 28th of September at The Living Room in Providence Rhode Island.
